Community Projects

Builders' Club is a student-led service organization for middle school students.  Members in this service organization are students who are interested in service to school and community. 

The club's objectives are:

• To provide opportunities for working together in service to school and community.

• To develop leadership potential.

• To foster development of a strong character.

• To encourage loyalty to school, community, and nation.

The local Kiwanis Club of Scott County serves as the Builders' Club sponsor.  HMS's Builders' Club meetings began in November 2005 and will be held monthly.  A Kiwanis member will be in attendance at all meetings, along with the club's faculty advisor.

Students elected officers at their first meeting.  They are as follows:

• President:  Aaron Marsh

• Vice-President:  Ashley Mason

• Secretary:  Paula Tompkins

• Treasurer:  Kevin Miller

6th Grade:

7th Grade:
