Red Fridays
Our school has committed to wearing red every Friday to show our
support for our servicemen and women. The red symbolizes
the great respect, honor and gratitude we have for our troops
who put their own lives in danger to serve the American public
and defend our freedom. They are often away from their families
and homes for months at a time. Wearing red on Fridays is a very
small action on our parts to show how much we appreciate what
they do for us. This past Friday, Huntsville Middle School got
together for a group picture on the bleachers. This will be sent
to our troops in Iraq in time for Christmas. |
