Dear Parent/Guardian,
I am delighted to have your child in class this year. With your encouragement, your child will participate in and enjoy many exciting and rewarding experiences this academic year.
This letter will inform you of certain classroom rules and procedures your child will need to follow in order to maintain a classroom that allows all children to learn.
Be assured that my goal is to work to ensure the success of your child this year.

93-100 = A 85-92 = B 75-84 = C 70-76 =D below 70 = F
STUDENT
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Turn in assignments on time.
· Take class notes.
· When returning to school after being absent, ask each teacher what work was missed
· Make up missed assignments.
· Prepare for tests.
· Learn and follow class, school, playground and cafeteria rules.
· Purchase, organize and keep a binder/folder for class.
CONSEQUENCES:
· Warning
· Reprimand
· Loss of break and break privileges
· Writing or “Think” Sheet
· Detention slip (several detention hall slips could result in in-school suspension and/or out of school suspension
· Corporal punishment
· Removal from classroom
